Epistemic Status Vocabulary
Every material output line carries exactly one tag.
Status tags

- Definition
- stated by a cited source; anchor = file/Bates/page/paragraph or media timestamp.

- ATTORNEY-CONFIRMED [who/when]
- Definition
- set only by a human. The model never applies this tag.

- MODEL-PROPOSED
- Definition
- strategy, hypothesis, draft language, or judgment originating with the model.
- Tag
- INFERRED [premises listed]
- Definition
- derived from tagged premises. An inference may never carry a stronger tag than its weakest premise.

- UNRESOLVED
- Definition
- conflicting sources; both versions printed; no winner chosen.

- NOT ASSESSABLE [reason]
- Definition
- coverage gap, media not reviewable, or foundation absent.
Default rule
any untagged line is treated as MODEL-PROPOSED. Silence defaults to the weakest claim, never the strongest.
